2. YumYum Jeju (Episode 2)


YumYum Jeju, where Ji-su and Sang-ho had their first date, is located in a vast tangerine orchard and offers seasonal workshops using a variety of locally grown Jeju ingredients. Beginning in late August, visitors can take part in green tangerine marmalade-making workshop, slicing green tangerines and boiling them with sugar to create the jam-like condiment. Spring workshops feature Jeju carrots, while tangerines become the focus in autumn. YumYum Jeju is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a unique experience only possible on Jeju Island.

3. Seogwi Dawon (Episode 2)



Yi Do and Hyun-kyu’s first date took place amidst the organic green tea fields of Seogwi Dawon, spread out beneath Hallasan Mountain. Visitors can enjoy a tour of the tea fields along with free tastings, all for a nominal entrance fee. Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating stroll through the well-maintained fields, then head to the observatory to admire the view of Hallasan Mountain rising above the sea of green tea fields. This indoor roller skating rink, the venue for a group date between six of the cast members, is an ideal spot to escape the sweltering summer heat, fun for all ages from children to adults. Ji-su and Hyun-kyu’s one-on-one date took place at this charming café with stunning ocean views, situated right by the ocean in Namwon-eup. The building is made up of a hostel on the second floor and a café on the first. Signature menu items include their apple cinnamon lattes, brown cheese croffles, and Jeju yuzu-apple tea. Holidayholic is a brunch café serving a variety of menu options, located in a building with a quaint red-brick exterior and green window frames, paired with a clean, minimalist interior. The unique vibe made a big impression on Yi Do when she came here to eat with Seung-li. Off-beat menu items such as the French home-style ragout ratatouille and bracken perilla cream gnocchi offer a taste of something different, along with a wide selection of beverages. The shrimp egg open sandwich is a signature favorite, blending the mild flavor of fluffy scrambled eggs with plump, succulent shrimp. The bracken perilla cream gnocchi is the perfect texture, crisp on the outside and chewy inside, enhanced by the rich, creamy sauce and the earthy flavor of the bracken. With its stylish interior, this café is also the perfect spot for snapping some shots, making it a must-visit for those passing by Hamdeok Beach.

8. Ghost Town (Episode 4)



Horror fans visiting Jeju won’t want to miss out on Ghost Town, where Min Hong and Jeong-mok had their one-on-one date. The eerie, spooky atmosphere of this place starts right from the entrance, and inside are found an array of terrifying experiences, including a Haunted House, Ghost Maze, and VR Cinema featuring ghostly films. Although Ghost Town is open during the day, we highly recommend a nighttime visit to get the full horror effect. 9. Strike Bowling Center (Episode 5)



Located in downtown Jeju City, Strike Bowling Center played host to a 2:2 date with two couples, Yi Do and Jeong-mok, and Yeo Myung and Hyun-kyu. With 24 lanes, Strike Bowling Center is the largest bowling alley on Jeju Island, easily accessible by public transportation due to its convenient downtown location. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and bowling shoes are sanitized daily with infrared sterilizers. Drinks and snacks are also available to enjoy while playing.

10. Yeonirang Café (Episode 5)



Yeonirang Café, known for its spacious outdoor garden, is located in an area near Geomun Oreum volcanic cone, an ideal spot to relax amidst the serenity of nature. Jae-yun and Ji-yeon shared some honest conversation over dessert out in the garden here. The garden is truly a feast for the eyes in summer when the hydrangeas are in full bloom. Their signature dessert is the Soboro Granita, made of frozen espresso topped with 100% dairy cream and homemade crumbles for a perfect blend of sweetness and bitterness. Enjoy their wide selection of handcrafted beverages surrounded by verdant plants and flowers.

11. Space Seooh (Episode 6)





Space Seooh is known for its cozy, relaxing vibe and large windows that let in the warm sunlight. Yi Do and Jeong-mok shared some quiet conversation in this café that also doubles as a pottery studio. One-day classes in hand-building and wheel-throwing are available for those interested in hands-on experiences. A variety of ceramics decorate the walls of the space’s white-toned, minimalist interior. The menu features fruit syrups made in-house, and bread baked fresh every morning with organic flour. Soak in the pleasant, cozy vibe and take a break from an action-packed holiday while enjoying a drink or dessert made with love.

12. The Bookdrunkers (Episode 7)




The Bookdrunkers, which played host to Jeong-mok, Ji-yeon, Min Hong, Yi Do, and Yeo Myung’s secret date, is a charming book café with a dark green exterior and an entrance lined with bookshelves. The shop’s unique selling point is the ability to sip on some alcoholic drinks while enjoying the books. The menu features a variety of foods and drinks that the owner discovered while traveling around the world. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available for those who prefer not to indulge. Private seating can be reserved in advance, with tables also available for walk-in guests.

13. Sosimhan 2F (Episode 7)



Jae-yun spent some time waiting alone at this spot, a cozy solo-drinking bar perfect for enjoying some drinks while listening to good music on LP, and a great place for solo travelers to meet new people and strike up conversations. The bar is also a venue for monthly live performances by invited artists. Sosimhan 2F serves alcoholic drinks including beer, highballs, and wine, which pair well with their food offerings. For those wanting to enjoy some good food and drinks while engaging in a once-in-a-lifetime conversation with a stranger, look no further than Sosimhan 2F.

14. Pigalhoeok (Episode 7)



Located near Seopjikoji, Pigalhoeok is a sashimi restaurant offering fresh seafood, and was featured on Better Late Than Single twice, both when Sang-ho enjoyed a full course meal of seafood on his own, and when the cast members who didn’t go on an overnight date had a group dinner. The natural wood of the building gives it a unique ambiance unlike typical sashimi restaurants. Pigalhoeok’s signature set menu for two includes an assortment of sashimi featuring mackerel, silver hairtail, flounder, red sea bream, and red-banded shrimp, along with assorted fried seafood and godeungeo-gui (grilled mackerel). A more modest Korean-style meal set featuring jeyukbokkeum and godeungeo-gui is also available for lunch. Get a taste of the boundless Jeju ocean with the wide variety of fresh sashimi served at Pigalhoeok.

15. Imjingotaek (Episode 9)



This traditional hanok-style accommodation, where Ji-yeon and Jeong-mok stayed for their overnight date, holds over 300 years of history and tradition. The two buildings, Ankeridong and Mokeridong, combine traditional Jeju architecture with modern, sophisticated interior design. The spacious stone-wall enclosed yard has an outdoor swing and stone benches, allowing guests to relax and bask in the natural charms of the lovely garden, while the “Vinyl Soemak” lounge is perfect for sipping a coffee while listening to LP records. Grills and utensils for outdoor barbecues are available upon request. Enjoy a peaceful and leisurely getaway steeped in Jeju tradition at Imjingotaek.

16. Yang Gwaja Hoegwan (Episode 10)



Ji-yeon and Jeong-mok met here for their final selection, with the large glass window that Jeong-mok waited beside adding charm to the small building. This shop is famous for its baked treats such as financiers, madeleines, and Basque cheesecakes. The cozy, inviting vibe, along with the wide selection of drinks and desserts, will make any vacation all the sweeter.

17. Damsoyo (Episode 10)



Ji-su and Seung-li met for their final selection amidst the spacious garden and exhibitions of this cultural space. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the café make it a perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor view. The large pond in the garden is a perfect match for the name “Damsoyo,” which means “to stroll along a quiet pond.” Hallasan Mountain can be made out in the distance on clear days, making this an ideal spot for those who want to connect with nature. Damsoyo is the place to go to enjoy the lush greenery and serene vistas of summer on Jeju Island.
