The dream of every pet owner is to explore new places with their beloved companions. However, in reality, this can often be challenging. While there may be more options for outdoor spaces, indoor areas – especially cafes – that welcome pets are still quite rare. But here in Jeju, there is a brunch café where you can enjoy the emerald waters of Hyeopjae with your furry friend: the unique and exotic ‘Osds Hyeopjae.’

Just a 5-minute walk from Hyeopjae Beach, Osds Hyeopjae is a branch of Osds Yeonnam, offering the same high-quality beans and beverages as its Seoul counterpart. So, what’s different? For one, the breathtaking scenery - with two large window walls that let in Jeju’s warm sunlight and offer views of palm trees gently swaying in the breeze. Osds Yeonnam is quite spacious, with ample parking, so you won’t need to worry about finding a spot.

The café is surrounded by a beautifully kept garden, with Jeju’s iconic basalt, sand, and palm trees creating a resort-like atmosphere reminiscent of Southeast Asia. You’ll find small tables scattered throughout the garden, perfect for enjoying your brunch outdoors.

Inside, the resort-like theme continues, with stone accents complementing the natural surroundings. The ground is lined with white pebbles and large stones that define walkways, all while offering a lovely view of the garden through the windows, giving the indoor space an open, outdoor feel. Head upstairs, and you'll discover a different yet equally charming view from the second floor.

As a brunch café, Osds Hyeopjae offers a variety of dishes and drinks, but its standout items are the Jeju Badang Salad and Jeju Badang Totbap (hijiki rice), both featuring fresh Jeju seafood.

The Jeju Badang Salad features a mix of fresh Jeju squid, abalone, shrimp, and sesame dressing. The combination of crisp vegetables and seafood creates a comforting and satisfying meal. The Jeju Badang Totbap, on the other hand, offers steamed hijiki rice flavored with abalone innards, topped with grilled squid, Jeju black pork, shrimp, and abalone. The fragrant hijiki rice pairs perfectly with the savory grilled meat and seafood.

Other brunch options at Osds Hyeopjae include the Soybean Paste Ragu Pasta and Eggs Benedict with Carottes Râpées. As for your canine companions, they can look forward to a puppuccino! So if you're searching for a spot to enjoy with your beloved pets, Osds Hyeopjae in Jeju is the place to be.
