Especially in May, in the warm spring, there are many tour spots to visit and have fun. There are lots of attractions, including the mystic “Gotjawal,” “Jeju Safety Experience Center” teaching the importance of safety, “Children’s Museum” and “Robot Museum” for kids. Let’s find out about the touristic spots in Jeju that can give your kids beautiful memories and fun.
When you open the door, there is a place where Gotjawal, holding the mysticity of nature, and a railroad meet. This place, once a communal ranch of the village in 1935, is Gotjawal’s “Sanyang Keuneonggot,” which was restored by the villagers working hard together. Gotjawal is a combination of “Got,” meaning a forest in Jeju dialect, and “Jawal,” meaning a thornbush, and it has a unique ecosystem with various vegetation.
The walking paths in “Sanyang Keuneonggot” are very nice, so kids can take a walk without feeling uneasy. When you walk through the forest filled with phytoncide and look around at nature, you will feel your body and soul soften like in spring.
There are some small attractions too. Deer sculptures and old railroad tracks wouldn’t keep your eyes bored. You can teach your kids the beauty of nature by walking through the forest, and make a good memory at the photo zone. It will be a fun place to visit for both you and your kids in May, Family Month.
