Designated as Natural Monument no. 374, the forest has about 2,800 nutmeg trees, each aged between 500 and 800 years old. It is the largest nutmeg tree forest in the world. The “ancestor tree of the bija trees” is located in the center of the forest. It is an 800 year old tree, dated to be the oldest tree on the island. The nutmeg trees emit phytoncide, which is said to strengthen the immune system and aid natural healing. The forest is open all year round, from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Parking and free wheelchair rentals are available. Myeongnim-ro 584, Jeju City and includes Jeolmul Oreum, which is famous for being home to a Japanese Cedar Forest. There is also a promenade, a pond, grass lawns, and an observatory. The hours of operation are 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., all year round, but Jeolmul Oreum and Forest Road of Longevity are closed to visitors on Mondays. Parking is available, along with free wheelchair rentals and wheelchair accessible restrooms. There are also a series of ramps available in Samna Forest. the eastern end of Jeju Island, and is a popular location for visitors to view the sunrise. There is a huge crater at the top of the peak, which is surrounded by 99 sharp rocks, making it look like a royal crown. The entire hike takes approximately 50 minutes. The park opens daily, from one hour before sunrise until sunset, but is closed during inclement weather. Free parking is available to all visitors. On this strip of road, there are numerous indie cafes, restaurants, and street performers, and vendors that sell handmade jewelry and accessories. The Lee Joong Seop Museum is also located there, as well as the home he lived in while he resided on Jeju Island. The street is closed off to cars every weekend (Saturday & Sunday), from 10am to 6pm. The fields are full of hydrangea flowers in the summer and also attached to lavender fields. It is a popular location for wedding and engagement photo sessions. Boromwat uses their own lavender flowers to make their popular, lavender ice cream. The cafe also serves fresh juices and snacks, using other fresh ingredients that have been harvested directly from their farm. beautiful, white sand beach with clear, emerald waters. It is nestled within a group of hills, including Seowoobong hill, so you can enjoy both the beach and the mountains at Hamdeok Seowoobong. The beach is especially popular with families, because the waters are still and shallow. Additionally, there is a walking trail to hike up Seowoobong, which takes only about 15 minutes. At the top of Seowoobong, you will experience a spectacular view of the beach below. The trail is situated in the middle of Olleh Course 19, located at Hamdeok-ri 1008, Jocheon-eup, Jeju City.
