Best Tourism Villages - Dongbaek

Sehwa-ri(세화리) in Gujwa-eup(구좌읍) and Dongbaek Village located in Shinheung-2ri(신흥2리), Namwon-eup(남원읍) have been selected as the best toruism villages by UN Tourism in 2023. The two were the only ones among the 130 on the list to be invited to the forum. Dongbaek, in the town of Namwon-eup, was described as having a healthy village cuisine of Jeju like the native camellia course meal, farm dining at Dongbaek Garden and the seasonal food fern pasta.
