When darkness falls, thousands of lights fill the Jeju night sky. Every tree branch lights brightly in place of daylight, and in the deep woods, water buffaloes and whales, surrounded by illumination. Unique artworks casting lights on the dark surfaces stir up deep emotions within those out for a nighttime walk. Here we introduce the beautiful, romantic nighttime tourist attractions of Jeju, which captivate travelers with a charm that starkly contrasts from the island’s daytime delights.
COVID-19 Control Procedures in Place on Jeju
Jeju and Korea have taken steps to control the spread of COVID-19. These measures include changes to the island’s visa-free policy and the temporary closure of some public tourist attractions. This has contributed to a situation whereby, as of March 30, the island has only had nine cases of COVID-19. Four of these patients have since recovered. Hopefully, these steps will effectively contribute to the efforts of the global community to stop the illness.
