Yeomiji Botanical Garden is located north of the Jungmun Tourist Complex, easily accessible via Route 1132. With the name meaning “beautiful land,” Yeomiji Botanical Garden is home to the largest greenhouse in Asia, and is divided into a 112,200㎡ outdoor garden and a 11,361㎡ indoor botanical garden. The outdoor garden features a forest of large trees, such as palms, as well as Korean-, Japanese-, Italian-, and French-style gardens, allowing visitors to appreciate both Eastern and Western designs.

The gardens are home to over 2,300 species of plants in total, with approximately 1,300 species housed inside the greenhouse. The indoor botanical garden features a central hall and a 38-meter-high observation tower, as well as a number of themed gardens to explore, including the Mystery Garden, Flower Garden, Aquatic Garden, Cactus Garden, Jungle Garden, and Tropical Fruits Garden.

Photo zones are hidden throughout the greenhouse, with installations such as colorful umbrellas, star-filled caves, and the word “Yeomiji” written out in flowers are serving as perfect backdrops to capture beautiful memories. The dome-shaped observation deck at the top of the garden boasts a gorgeous view of the ocean, with Marado Island visible on clear days. It can be accessed via an elevator or stairs, so be sure to include a stop at the observation deck during your visit to Yeomiji Botanical Garden.
