Byeoldobong Peak is made up of clastic sedimentary rocks and lava, and the ridge on the northern slope stretches from the highest peak to the sea. This cliff is known as Jasalbawi Rock. On the coast below the cliff is Goraegul Cave and the curiously shaped Aegiopeundol Rock.
The beautiful trail that circles around Byeoldobong Peak and keeps the 136m coastal cliff next to it is called Jangsu-ro Walkway, and offers a spectacle of the coast, including the high peaks, vessels arrive and departing Jeju Port, Jasalbawi Rock, and the azure ocean.
It is a beautiful destination that is ideal for walks with lovers or families.
산책로 다 둘러보는데 30분 정도 걸림. 올라가는데 그리 힘들지 않아 가족들끼리 가벼운 운동삼아 올라가면 좋음. 올라갔을 때 제주항이랑 제주발전소가 보여서 낮에도 좋을거 같고 밤에도 보기 좋을거 같음. 날 맑을 땐 한라산까지 시야가 확투여있어 제주도 전경을 보기에 좋음.
