VISIT JEJU

asageumi, located near the Road 1100 in Jeju, is a Korean acronym for “wind, people, and art museum” (baram, saram, geurigo misulgwan). It is one of the few large brunch cafés in Jeju. 

Basageumi is operated in conjunction with Jeju Love Land, and the recent menu renewal has been received with even more praise from visitors.

Basageumi’s space is exotic and huge, including its parking lot. 

Having a huge parking lot in Jeju City, where parking is often difficult to find, adds to Basageumi’s appeal. 

Another attraction of Basageumi is the sculptures that decorate the café from the entrance, creating an art museum-like atmosphere. 

Perhaps because of the high ceiling, you have a refreshingly open view of the interior space no matter where you sit. 

The interior has an elegant and clean feel, and the walls of windows bring in the view of the outside while you’re eating or your coffee in the café. 

Since Basageumi serves both food and coffee, there is plenty of time to enjoy the view. 

Basageumi’s signature menu items include the Hallasan latte, chestnut cream latte, Basageumi latte, Jeju sunset ade, and Jeju wind ade. 

Of course, you can also find more standard fare such as cafe Americano, cafe latte, and smoothies on the menu. 

One interesting item on the menu is cortado, a Spanish-style espresso drink that uses less milk than a cafe latte. 

If you are curious, grab a cup of cortado and feel the flavors of Iberia. 

Three beans are available: dark, classic, and decaffeinated.

Basageumi’s menu is quite varied, with dishes like chuck flap tail steak, pasta, pizza, and salad, so there’s something for everyone. 

If you can’t decide from the menu, you can order different things and share them with others. 

Outside, there are sculptures, gardens with flowers in bloom, and a pond that takes on a special charm on rainy days. 

Some even space out while enjoying the view of this beautiful garden. 

There is even a photo area for visitors with stone fences, trees, and other beautiful props.
