Fritz Coffee Company has four stores in Seoul, and its fifth location recently opened in Seongsan, Jeju—marking its first venture outside the Seoul metropolitan area.

The Jeju Seongsan store is located in the renovated Baengnok Hoegwan building, which was once a store selling Jeju seafood such as sliced raw abalone, cutlassfish, and red tilefish. 

It is associated with a variety of descriptors, from good coffee to scenic café, café with a view of the sea, and excellent bread.

As you step into its retro-inspired interior, you’re greeted with a breathtaking view of Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone and the Jeju sea. 

Visitors say that regardless of the weather, the view from Fritz Coffee Company Jeju Seongsan is always worth it. 

There’s also a variety of tables and chairs to choose from. 

They range from spaces reminiscent of 1980’s Korean “dabang” teahouses to sofas and bar tables.

Another interesting feature of Fritz Coffee Company Jeju Seongsan is the wide range of merchandise available. 

Their merch has gained considerable fame and popularity among visitors. 

The beverage menu on offer ranges from espresso drinks like cafe Americano, cappuccino and cafe latte, as well as tea options such as Udo Peanut Oat Milk, Oat Milk, Lemon Green Tea, and The Green Ray (green tea). 

You can also enjoy Brewing Coffee, Cold Brew, and Cold Brew Latte.

The espresso blend, ‘Way of Life’,’ offers fruity notes with a long-lasting sweetness and is exclusively available at Fritz Coffee Company’s Seongsan store. 

Fritz Coffee Company is also renowned for its baked goods, and the Seongsan store is no exception. A timetable shows when different baked goods will be fresh out of the oven, from 08:00 a.m. to noon. 

You’ll find everything from scones and sandwiches to croissants, baguettes, and donuts here. 

Near the café’s main entrance, a walking trail leads to Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone. 

Either that, you can also take the stairs down to the beach.
