Haelri Cafe is one of the most famous sea view cafés in Jeju. Located on a coastal cliff at the eastern end of the island, all seats in the café have views of the Jeju sea, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, and Udo Island.

Its name is associated with many descriptors, from photo café to ocean view café to coffee spot. 

This huge café, with a total land area of about 6,600㎡, has wall windows on all sides, along with a swimming pool and an outdoor garden. 

There are even outdoor tables to bring you closer to the view. 

A popular outdoor photo spot is the Sky Stair. 

Climb the stairs that stretch to the sky and pose for a picture that can’t be replicated anywhere else in the world.

The outdoor area has a piano and a swing. 

You can pose with the piano to become a pianist with a view of Udo Island. 

You can also ride the 15 meter long swing on less windy days. 

Of course, it also makes for a great photo prop. 

The menu here includes espresso, cafe Americano, condensed milk latte, Haelri latte (with roasted barley and udo peanut powder), and sparkling water drinks in strawberry, grapefruit, and aurora lemonade flavors. 

You can also get smoothies, tea, yogurt, shaved ice desserts (bingsu), and pizza. 

The pizza, in particular, deserves some attention if you haven’t already eaten. 

There are also seasonal menu items, from coconut pineapple to watermelon and mango juices in the summer to unripe tangerine tea and ginseng latte made with a whole ginseng in the winter. 

Note that the menu is available in both English and Chinese, as Seongsan is a popular tourist destination.

Haelri Cafe also delivers on the baked goods menu, from salt bread to muffins and croissants.
