It is a residence directly repaired by the descendants of 300-year-old family handed down from generation to generation and filled with handmade furniture. The house consists of three units. "Ankeori" referring to the main building and "Mokkori" referring to the annex are rooms and "Soemak," which was the barn, functions as a shared kitchen. "Bakkeori," which was an outbuilding, became a large front yard. According to the operator as well as the architect of Imjingotaek, their 14th ancestor served as a military chaplain in Joseon Dynasty and while he was wandering Jeju, he settled down here because of the outbreak of war in the year of Imjin. As the years passed and the descendants moved to modern spaces, this place that became shabby and vacant has remodeled by a father who is an architect and a daughter who majored in furniture design.
