Hawks, soaring high in the sky; owls, their eyes lighting up at night; parrots, with their colorful plumage. Hwajowon consists of an outdoor park, a glass greenhouse, and an owl café. The first stop in the outdoor park is the raptor aviary, home to a number of rare birds such as blue and bald eagles, living cage-free in open enclosures. Outside the aviary, visitors will get the chance to admire further diverse species of bird, as beautiful ornamental birds such as peacocks roam the park, the pond is inhabited by swans, and small owls flit about the paths.

After exploring the habitats, finish off with a visit to the Owl Café, where guests are greeted by a chatty Amazon parrot named Pepper. The café is great for enjoying a cool drink while gazing out at the rest of Hwajowon, or for taking a look at the display of different bird feathers. Hwajowon offers a unique experience encountering diverse species of bird, and is highly recommended for families with children visiting Jeju.
