Magpie Brewery
Magpie Brewing Company was started in Gyeongnidan-gil by four friends after drinking beer. This popular pizza and beer restaurant also has a brewery in Jeju where the water is clean and the air is fresh. A tour of Magpie Brewery is possible without reservations, however, group reservations by email or phone are recommended. Note that tours are only scheduled four times a day on Saturdays and Sundays. During the tour, you can see the whole process of making beer and ask questions at the actual site since you aren’t touring a separate showroom.
The tour fee per person includes a free glass of beer. Only on-site payment is permitted, and children under 8 years old are not admitted. Magpie Brewery also runs various educational classes and workshops related to craft beer. As some of the classes offer opportunities to learn about and share beer culture, the brewery is popular among beer lovers.
