Jamnyeo Haenyeochon is located on the way to Jeongjuhang Port from Hamdeok Beach. Jamnyeo refers to haenyeo, or women divers, who go underwater to collect seaweed and clams. This restaurant on the coastline of Hamdeok offers a clear view of the sea. The main ingredients are fresh seafood such as horned turbans and top shells that haenyeo have directly collected from the sea. Their menu items include sea urchin and top shell rice porridge, cold raw fish soup with soybean paste, grilled horned turbans, raw horned turbans, and grilled abalone.
About 20 haenyeo from Hamdeok Fishing Village are split into five groups, and each group takes turns running the restaurant and diving into the sea. It is closed on Lunar New Year's Day, Chuseok only.
