Pyeongdae Seonggeguksu (Pyeongdae’s Noodles with Sea Urchin)
Pyeongdae Seonggeguksu is run by a mother and daughter who are both haenyeo (women divers). The restaurant’s signature dish is noodles with sea urchin, and is relatively inexpensive (8,000 won). The restaurant also serves spicy noodles with horned turbans, parboiled octopus, octopus and sea hare salad, spear squid pancake, and so on. As seats are available indoors and outdoors including on the rooftop, the small restaurant can accommodate more people than expected.
