This is a restaurant where you can enjoy various Japanese tofu dishes along with a picturesque sea view.

Sinuihanmo’s tofu is made with soy milk produced with beans from Jeju. The owner, fascinated by the role of tofu in Japan as not only a side dish ingredient, but also the primary one in main dishes, is said to have learned how to make tofu in Japan.

The menu shows a rich diversity of items. You might be surprised by how many dishes can be made with tofu. In addition to the common bean curd, the restaurant serves unusual tofu such as the creamy oboro tofu and the Udo peanut tofu. The restaurant also cooks tofu in many different ways. They boil it, braise it, grill it, and sometimes deep fry it (agedashi tofu). As a restaurant specializing in tofu, which comes from beans, Sinuihanmo offers various items using beans in its main meals, desserts, and drinks, for example, soy milk pudding, soy milk ice cream, and tofu donuts.

For those who find it difficult to choose among the wide range of dishes, the restaurant provides decent set menus. Apart from the recommended set menu (three dishes for two people/five dishes for three or four people) composed of only tofu dishes, you can also choose a meal set menu that includes bean curd or oboro tofu with either rice bowl dishes or steak.

Meanwhile, the restaurant recommends eating their rice bowl dishes, their main meal item, not by mixing the ingredients, but by layering each ingredient on your spoon and putting a bit of wasabi on top. The restaurant also explains that their popular marinated crab and natto with rice dish is able to offer the best taste due to their daily effort of preparing the marinated crab by hand.

There is a parking space for about four vehicles in front of the restaurant. While every Monday is a day off, the place additionally closes in the afternoon on the first and fourth Sundays every month to produce soy milk.
